From Gate to Great

Whether you start in our nationwide network of Unipart Automotive branches or step into one of hundreds of roles in third party logistics or sign up for international assignments in global expert practices group, Unipart offers you a career limited only by your aspirations.

From the moment you enter the gate of any Unipart site, you can begin a journey that promises training, coaching and career development to help you achieve your goals. Our commitment goes back to the early 90s when Unipart pioneered employee development by creating one of the first corporate universities in Europe, The Unipart U. Things have moved on a great deal since those early days, but learning is still at the heart of our business.

Gate to Great is the name given to the Unipart programme for developing people. But its more than title, it’s a commitment on behalf of Unipart’s leaders to find and hire great people and to help them develop even further.

Many roles are field-based, providing a wide variety of activity and travel. Other roles will enable you to operate as part of a small team running a business that serves local customers with the best range of parts and accessories available to motorists in the UK. You might join hundreds of people working in one of our larger sites helping customers like Vodafone, Sky or Jaguar to deliver outstanding customer service.

Whatever your preference, Unipart offers you the opportunity to grow your career in line with your experience and interests. Take the general manager of our conferencing and catering business for instance. She joined us as a personal assistant in automotive parts distribution. You might meet one of our HR directors who started her career as an IT trainer in our head office. Perhaps you’ll come across one of our distribution centre managers who started working for us on a temporary basis repairing pallets.

There are hundreds of stories of people like that, who’ve achieved more than they ever thought possible through coaching, development and a bit of hard work.

Maybe they’re people like you...
